In the video above Valerie and her best friend Tessa were just dropped off at the Middle Grove farm to rejoin the herd. They were thrilled to be back. When Lily produced a filly in 2022 I just had to keep this one. Lily is getting older and we don't want to lose her line. Hopefully Valerie will one day take the place of her mother and be as wonderful as Lily has been. In 2024 we brought her in for some ground work and were impressed with how well she remembered her earlier training. We will bring her in to the Hanna City farm this spring for some under saddle training and to breed her to Evan. She is going to be very tall. Lily and her sister Rosalie each stand a solid 17 hands, we expect Valerie to easily be as tall. She has a sensible mind, wants to please and loves people. She is best friends with Tessa, the other filly we kept from 2022 so those 2 will be brought in together.
